    Suzanne Looney Richter
    Quota International of Paris, TN

Suzanne Looney Richter joined Quota International of Paris in February 2001. Suzanne is a native Parisian who moved back to Paris after serving many years in the field of education in Florida. She is truly a "daughter" of the "volunteer county" of Henry and the "volunteer state" of Tennessee. As a member of the Paris Quota club, she has served on many committees and actively participates in all club service. Her volunteer commitments also expand well beyond Quota and into the entire community. Suzanne is on the Lee School Association board, which is involved in saving and restoring the 150-year-old Lee School building—to be used as a community and historical records center. An experienced "grant writer," she procured a grant for a consultant for the restoration and preservation of the building. She also serves as president of the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center, another restored building that is used to preserve the history of Henry County. She serves as vice-regent of the Daughters of the American Revolution and is an active member of the Woman's Club, a literary club, and the Happy Greer Delphian club. She is also active in her church. Suzanne uses her many talents to better the cultural life in Henry County, as well as spending many hours helping family members and those in the community who need a "helping hand." It is with pride that Quota International of Paris elects Suzanne as their Volunteer of the Year for 2003.
