    Vicki MacNabb
    Quota International of Minneapolis, MN

Vicki MacNabb is a long-standing and enthusiastic member of Quota whose volunteer efforts embody the spirit of the Quota collect and objectives. Vicki joined Quota International of Minneapolis in 1986 and has served in numerous board positions since that time. In 2000, Vicki took on the challenge to serve as club president for three years. She has willingly served as the club delegate to district conferences, all area meetings, as well as international conventions. Vicki has made these meetings come alive in writings and pictures, bringing events to the local level to include club members and encourage attendance at future events. One local member has commented that Vicki's Quota roots have grown about a foot deeper as the result of attending the 2001 Quota International Australia meeting. She returned to Minneapolis with a renewed passion for the work of Quota. The club has benefited from her passion in many ways. Inspired by the Australian convention, she held an Australia theme party in her home, complete with koalas, bats, and Aussie hamburgers. The Australia party raised money for two scholarships for deaf students. Vicki has been dedicated to providing resources and books for the Cops N' Kids/Firefighter and Kids Minneapolis Program ever since she heard Julia Burney's presentation about the Cops N' Kids Program during the Racine, Wisconsin, area conference. Her interests have also kept the club close to the Quota hearing-impaired mission. All of Vicki's efforts strengthen networks among local membership, international membership, and community service project participants.
