    Evelyn Okert
Quota International of Kent Valley, WA

Evelyn Okert is a charter member of Quota International of Kent Valley. In the 12 years since the club was chartered, she has been an active and supportive member of all club projects. She has served twice as treasurer; three times as chairman of the Community Service, Programming and Publicity, and Telephone committees; and numerous times as a board member. Evelyn was instrumental in getting several articles printed in the local Kent Valley newspaper. The articles described some of the ways Quota benefits the local community. Evelyn also acts as a liaison to hearing-impaired children in elementary through high school by keeping in contact with the audiologist in the Highline School District. As a result, the club maintains a close working relationship with the district and is able to help provide for the particular needs of their hearing-impaired students. Outside of Quota, Evelyn volunteers at the Puget Sound Blood Bank and is active in local politics. Evelyn is a mother of three, grandmother of six, and great-grandmother of one and is very close to all of her family. She is committed to giving of her time to her family, her community, and her country. Quota International of Kent Valley is proud and grateful to have Evelyn as a member.
