    Betty Weston
    Quota International of Kalamazoo, MI

Betty Weston is a native of Brisbane, Australia, who moved to Kalamazoo when she was seven. In 1980, she joined Quota and has been an active member for 22 years. During her years with Quota, she has held nearly every office and has served on all committees. Betty has been the initiator of many club projects and services, including the following: co-chairing and working on the Walk-a-thon; Salute to Staff luncheon/style show; the Daisy Dollars coupon program at a local greenhouse; and delivering flowers for the greenhouse for Valentine's and Mother's Day. Betty has also served as the co-chair for the "Stepping Out" program, which is designed to give junior high and high school students who are deaf or hearing impaired an opportunity to learn about community resources. Betty started the "Secret Sisters" program between club members and continues to coordinate it. Volunteering is not something Betty thinks about—it is her way of life!
