Christine Michelet
Quota International of Gridley, CA

Christine Michelet is extremely active in the 4-H youth program and has been for many years. Her accomplishments include raising more than $6,000 for local food closets, helping with flower-bed care at a residential senior center, helping out at spaghetti feeds, and volunteering with her group at the Quota club thrift shop. Chris also sits on the board of directors for GUARDIAN (a local youth anti-drug program) and writes grants for the group, which have brought in large sums of money. She was instrumental in securing her Quota club's Youth Outreach grant this year for the teen mother program, and she recruited her fellow Quotarians to make baby quilts for the teen mothers. Chris has also worked tirelessly at the Quota farm labor camp for youth. Chris has managed to accomplish all this while working full-time and raising her children plus two of her nieces.
