Joanne
Jaycox Joanne Jaycox, a 30-year member, has exemplified the Quota spirit.
Through Joanne's leadership, the Fort Lauderdale club supports over 17 service
projects, the most noteworthy being those associated with Shatter Silence.
More recently, Joanne spearheaded the Providence Place Project for disadvantaged
women and children. Supported by a grant from Quota International, this project
provides children with childcare while their mothers attend self-improvement
courses. Additionally, Joanne works with local high schools, obtaining matching
funds to grant scholarship assistance to deserving students that have excelled
in community service. Whether she is leading Quotarians to a nursing home
for a monthly bingo party, bringing Care Bears to the local fire and rescue
squads, supporting migrant workers, or lending a hand to the Boys and Girls
Club of America, one thing is certain
you can be sure to find Joanne
out in front leading the brigade and passing on the Quota spirit. |
