Beverley Oudshoorn accepted the position of president when the founding president of the three-year-old Mariposa Silver "Q" club could no longer carry on. Although she had no previous leadership experience, she rose to the occasion with grace and confidence. Under her leadership, the club has gained five new members during the past year. She has a wonderful sense of humor and laughs at herself when she makes a mistake. She has relied on members with experience and has not hesitated to call on them. Beverly is an articulate, conscientious president who is dedicated to the progress of the club, always planning ahead to move the Mariposa club forward to a healthy future.
