    Judith Scotton
    Quota International of Moranbah, QLD

Judy Scotton is an inspiring person who has dedicated many years to assisting the elderly, sick, and needy of the little community of Moranbah. Judy has attended the elderly residents of Moranbah by visiting them in their homes and pensioneer cottages, running errands, delivering messages, and providing personal care. It is perhaps Judy's devotion to the sick that marks her as unique. Judy attends the Moranbah Hospital on a regular basis to comfort the terminally ill and their families. She also assists needy residents in the community. She is a member of the Moranbah Court Support Group, which helps women involved in domestic violence situations. Judy has also been a staunch supporter of the Catholic Church, especially in the training of altar attendants. Despite difficult personal circumstances, Judy has remained an unselfish and caring person. Because of her tremendous service, Judy was awarded the Belyando Shire Citizen of the Year Award during the Australia Day celebrations.
