It is with great pleasure that the members of Quota International of Brunswick Valley nominate Margaret Giles as a Volunteer of the Year. Margaret has been a loyal and tireless worker for Quota International of Brunswick Valley for over 17 years. She has held all positions in the club and has always given her full support to all functions and activities. Her meeting attendance is exemplary, and she is always ready with a helping hand. Her accomplishments include almost single-handedly ensuring the success of the Australia Day Breakfast in the Park at Brunswick Heads for the past 13 years. In the year 2000, this program won the Community Event of the Year for Brunswick Valley. Margaret, in turn, was recognized as Citizen of the Year. As well as her many Quota hours, Margaret has been a strong supporter and volunteer for the Mullumbimby Rotary Club and is active in the local church community.
