    Pat O'Hara
    Quota International of Ryde, NSW

As a Quotarian for thirty years Pat O'Hara has diligently worked to make a positive difference in her community. In that time, Pat has served in all executive positions in her club, as well as serving as the South Pacific Area representative on Quota International's Speech and Hearing Committee. In addition to giving her time to work with Quota, Pat has served many other organizations for extended periods: the Deafness Council of New South Wales since its inception, Better Hearing Australia for thirty years, and the Access 2000 Committee for six years (promoting a video creating awareness of the difficulties of living with hearing impairments). Pat's list of service goes on, and, rightly so, she was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for her services to her community. Due to her broad expanse of activities, Pat has become renowned for her excellent skills and diplomacy in negotiating between such organizations.
