    Pam Rivers
    Quota International of Moorabbin, VIC


    Since joining Quota twenty-five years ago, Pam Rivers has been an active, tireless servant working for the deaf and hearing impaired of Victoria. In addition to producing a book for parents of deaf children, Pam has raised in excess of $380,000 for the Deafness Foundation of Victoria. Pam has been active in community service for over forty years, working with the Moorabbin Intellectually handicapped for twenty-three years, and a member of the East Bentleigh Health Service for twelve years. In addition, she has fulfilled many roles in her lifetime association with her church, including Sunday School teacher, parish secretary, and Vestry member. For all her work, Pam has been honored with a Citizen of the Year Award in 1998 and was nominated for the Advance Australia Award in 1991.
