    Jeanette Jackson
    Quota International of Liverpool, NSW

For forty years Jeanette Jackson has been volunteering her time in any way possible. Since joining Quota in 1985, Jeanette has held every office in her club. But her more notable accomplishments revolve around her giving unto others. Early in Quota, Jeannette became aware of a teenage single mother who had a deaf daughter. She got the club involved, collecting clothes and essential items for both mother and child, and they are still visited and supported by the club today. Fund raising is another of Jeanette's strengths. Her "decorate a bra" night to raise awareness of breast cancer, a fashion parade to support a pilot neonatal hearing screening service, as well as catering for a number of Quota events are just a few of her past projects. And the little things she does make a big difference, too. Jeanette regularly picks up and drops off fellow members for club meetings. All this plus her roles as a mother, grandmother, and wife make Jeanette Liverpool's Volunteer of the Year.
