    Olive Lyons
    Quota International of Bundaberg, QLD

Olive Lyons began her time in Quota as a charter member of the Murgon Club, where she also served as secretary-treasurer for the District. It wasn't until 1991 that Olive moved to Bundaberg and joined the Quota club there. In addition to Quota, Olive has held the office of President for Probus, as well as publicity officer for Friendship Force. Her volunteer skills and power were felt throughout her community and still are today. In addition to time spent helping strangers, Olive has lived a busy home life. Kept busy by her husband's plumbing business, then their four children, Olive later decided to open up a gift and toyshop. With both hands full, she simply began juggling as she helped out with the swimming club and Girl Guides as well as other activities in which her children were involved. Recently, Olive has found time to travel throughout Australia, New Zealand, the U.S., and Tasmania. In addition, she has been able to watch the development of her eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
