2001 Volunteer of the Year Winners Announced

The United Nations General Assembly designated 2001 as the Year of the Volunteer "to raise awareness about the vital work of volunteers in all walks of life and to [help people] think of new ways to promote volunteerism at home and abroad." To celebrate, the We Share Foundation invited clubs worldwide to select ONE member who embodies the true spirit of volunteerism that makes the world a better place as Volunteer of the Year.
