Why Sponsor a Junior Quota Club?

Organizing and supporting a Junior Quota club the right way takes effort, but its positive impact on both junior and senior members is exponential! All involved will develop valuable skills, gain access to new opportunities, and enjoy fellowship and fun. It's a wonderful service project that will help your club and the young people who you mentor and support in this special way.

Benefits to the Mentoring/Sponsoring Quota Club

    Fulfill Quota's mission.
Consider giving your Junior Quota Club a special focus that is in line with Quota's service missions to serve the deaf and hard-of-hearing and disadvantaged women and children. Empowering and mentoring young people, particularly those experiencing disadvantaged circumstances, is a tremendous service that will have a profound impact.

    Infuse youthful energy.
Young people bring a new energy to Quota meetings, events, and service projects. That youthful dynamic will add spark to tried-and-true traditions, as well as a new perspective that can update old ideas or create new ones.

Develop a pipeline for new Quotarians.
A good experience in the Quota family is likely to lead to junior Quotarians' sustained and active membership in Quota upon graduation. Already familiar with Quota's mission and operating procedures at the local and international levels, they are ideal new members who also bring with them professional and personal connections to many potential new members.

    Increase visibility in your community.
Just as senior Quotarians share Quota's vision through professional and personal relationships, junior Quotarians will increase Quota's visibility through their everyday activities at home, school, and extracurricular activities. Groups that a senior Quota club might not be as likely to reach—teachers, school administrators, family members, and coaches—will be introduced to Quota's work, leading to increased support and even new members.

    Benefits to the Junior Club

Receive mentoring from strong role models.
As caring, service-oriented professionals, senior Quota members are excellent role models for young people. In senior club members, junior Quotarians learn how to balance work, family, friends, and service in a way that allows them to serve others, fulfill their professional goals, and enjoy the company of others. That one-on-one mentoring and support can truly change a young life!

The opportunity to engage in meaningful service work.
Junior Quotarians have the unique opportunity to work together to develop meaningful projects in which they are fully invested while performing that service within the context of an international organization. This is a refreshing alternative to the service work that many students do to improve their resumes or fulfill service-related graduation requirements. Rather than isolated experiences, junior Quotarians enjoy the fellowship of one another and Quotarians worldwide.

    Leadership development.
Membership in a Junior Quota Club allows students to experience an unusual—and valuable—level of responsibility. They will learn to manage money, run meetings, and develop and coordinate events.
