Taree Quota Club Keeps on Trucking

The Quota club of Taree, New South Wales, Australia, transformed a truck into a festive float to take part in a parade to celebrate volunteers.

Quota members joined volunteers from other local civic organizations to celebrate and to be honored for their service contributions to the community. Even the cold, wet weather of May, Down Under, couldn't douse the spirits of these Volunteers in Action!

Sporting snazzy Quota T-shirts, the Taree club decorated the vehicle with streamers and balloons, and then climbed into the back of the truck for a ride through town. At the end of the parade route, the city hosted a "sausage sizzle" and entertainment for the honorees.

Members say participating in the parade was a great way to promote Quota's spirit of fellowship and fun and to show the community that Quota International just keeps on trucking in Taree!
