Ohio Club Helps Families

The Lake County Quota club along Lake Erie in Ohio, U.S.A., enjoys helping individual families at Christmas. "We see to it that they receive a hearty, nourishing meal as well as lots and lots of gifts," says club president Kathi Ross.

Recent families included an elderly couple with a disabled adult son, a single mom with two babies living in a women's shelter, and a single mom with brain cancer.

"Helping others at Christmas is SO rewarding," adds Kathi. "We all shop individually and bring our purchases to our club holiday party for 'Show and Wrap' festivities. One of our members holds the event in her home and serves a gourmet meal with all the trimmings. Oh, the generosity of Quotarians!"
