    Ein, Swei, Drei…Profit!

The Seattle Quota club in the state of Washington, U.S.A., makes money as easily as ein, swei, drei with their annual Oktoberfest.

Festive German music, food, and beer—plus games and great prizes—attract sell-out crowds year after year for the club's main moneymaker, held this year on October19 at a local eatery. The club typically nets more than $9,000 with this project.

"The club members work hard procuring items for Bingo prizes, raffles, and silent auctions that go on during the evening," explains club president Julie Reid. "And the beneficiary is more actively involved now with sending out invitations to their constituency and procuring some items for us than in the past. We're very excited about that!"

Funds raised during the popular event help the Listen & Talk School for the Profoundly Deaf in Seattle.
