Quota's Fabulous Fashions Raise Funds in Lancaster

The Lancaster Quota club in Ohio, U.S.A., offers a fashion show of winter and holiday wear during their annual Christmas Bazaar in November. The event raises funds for club service to hearing-impaired individuals.

The 2001 event received a full-page photo spread featuring Quota members in fabulous fashions—Nellie Hahn in red and black moleskin, Rella Dorwart in white ultrasuede, Pat Russell in denim and cashmere, Ruby Barnes in a holiday sweater and black slacks, Alyce Giles in a sleek, brown moleskin dress, and Corry Wilcox in office casual.

Club president Edna Wachter was particularly proud because Rella is both a Quotarian and her granddaughter! And her nine-year-old granddaughter performed two songs in sign language for the crowd.

President Edna opened the event with a proclamation from Lancaster's mayor to honor their continued service in the community.
