Foundation to Celebrate Service Excellence at Convention 2004

• International Service Showcase
  The We Share Foundation is sponsoring the Convention 2004 International Service Showcase at Convention 2004 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This year's program includes a series of six service-related PowerPoint presentations on the Foundation's major service programs, including Club-to-Club World Service, Volunteers in Action, and the We Share Foundation's Speech and Hearing and Disadvantaged Women and Children service initiatives. A presentation profiling the opening of the New Delhi Home for Abandoned and Destitute Women expansion building is also planned. • Service-on-Site
  The Canadian Hearing Society located in Toronto, Ontario, will be the recipient of this year's Convention 2004 "Service-on-Site" donations. District 18, Convention 2004's host district, selected this year's project, and they are asking all convention attendees to bring easy-to-pack pens, pencils, and erasers to donate. In addition, because the people who participate in Canadian Hearing Society programs come from the world over, native language dictionaries that provide English translations would be appreciated.
  
  
• Saluting Service Success
  The We Share Foundation will honor winners of 2003-2004 contests and awards programs, including the 2003 International Photography Contest, the 2004 Quota Cares Month Competition held in March, and the 2004 Excellence in Service Award winners. The Foundation will also honor all 2004 Volunteers of the Year nominated by clubs worldwide. To print an entry form to nominate your club's Volunteer of the Year, click here.
