The town of Maryborough is a small regional center in Queensland, Australia, without a major hospital or associated medical services. As a result, infant hearing screening is not available locally. Aiming to help parents find screening and audiology services for their children, the Maryborough Quota club produced an easy-to-understand pamphlet filled with relevant information. Quota volunteers researched the situation, met with medical professionals, and hired a graphic designer to put together an appealing and informative brochure. The publication is distributed to expectant mothers and new parents through physicians' offices, healthcare professionals, and the local hospital. |
