    Kudos for Canadian Quota Club

QI of Huronia is known for service in the North Simcoe region of Ontario, Canada. The club's ongoing support of Rainbows (see article) is but one way they help local children in need. Thanks to a twice-monthly bingo fund-raiser, the club provided a beautiful playground in a deserving Midland neighborhood. In gratitude, the town named the facility "Quota Park."

The Huronia Quota club is making a difference for grieving children in the North Simcoe area of Ontario, Canada, through a non-profit program called Rainbows that provides training and curricula for peer support groups in schools, churches, and agencies for kids dealing with death, divorce, separation, or painful family transitions. Rainbows Director Yvette Contois wrote the Quota International staff office in Washington, D.C., to say:

"The dollars we receive from the Quota club cover the cost of individual journals and craft materials needed to run the program. I would be remiss not to mention the wonderful Quota bears! These bears travel back and forth with the children as they come and go in the 12-week program. The Quota members' labor of love significantly touches the lives of many families in our community. On behalf of all our grieving youth, please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your generous, loving, caring hearts. You light the way for many as they go from hurt through healing to hope."
