    New Delhi Home GROWS!

Thanks to generous funding provided by the Morton H. Meyerson Family Tzedakah Fund in Dallas, Texas, the expansion of the New Delhi Home for Abandoned and Destitute Women is well underway.

The new structure will house a school for children as well as living space for elderly women who have no other home. The women will assist in the oversight of the children who reside in the home and attend the school.

Hundreds of families have benefited from training and education at the Home, founded in 1978. Women receive medical aid and learn to become self-sufficient through job training and literacy, hygiene, and nutrition instruction.

Here is a photographic report of the building's progress as well as a glimpse at some of the people who are currently being helped by the Quota Home.

In March 2003, the New Delhi Home sponsored an eye camp for people who needed eye surgeries. Eyeglasses and medicines were distributed to those who needed them.
