Friday Night is LIVE in Marysville

In Marysville, California, U.S.A., Quota members sponsor Friday Night Live with a Youth Outreach Grant. The mentoring program provides education, community service, and alternative activities for at-risk youth to keep them out of trouble. Older teens mentor children in lower grades, and all attend Friday night functions supported by Quota at a community center .

In particular, the program plans to use the grant to provide a challenge ropes course for teaching problem solving and for developing confidence.

Program Executive Director Janet Siller wrote, "It is wonderful that a service organization of your dimensions and far-flung membership recognizes the importance of individual neighborhood and community programs and the part they play in our overall future. Indeed, Quota International serves as the personification of citizenship.
