PROJECT
DESCRIPTION
Quota International of Beckley, Inc., hosted a Silent Auction Luncheon and
New Member Recruitment on Tuesday, March 25, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.
at the Raleigh County Armory Civic Center in Beckley, West Virginia. Proceeds
from the auction were used to purchase eight cases of floor tile, two gallons
of ceiling paint, two gallons of wall enamel, and four gallons of glue for
the floor tile for the Pine Haven Homeless Shelter in Beckley, West Virginia.
Quota members brought baskets of items, such as jewelry, garden supplies,
and Christmas decorations to be auctioned via silent bidding during an afternoon
luncheon hosted by the club. The lunch was provided at no charge to guests.
Invitations were mailed to prospects for possible membership recruitment as
well as the fund-raiser participation. Approximately 50 guests were in attendance
and $722 was raised. To view the club's Quota Cares Month planning document
