Taree's Busy Bee

No bee is busier than Bill Bee (right) when it comes to helping hearing-impaired people in Taree, New South Wales, Australia.

Bill buzzes about the community installing systems to help others hear, completing over 40 hearing loops in homes, churches, and public halls at no charge, except for parts. Last year alone, he logged 2400 km in traveling for a Better Hearing group.

The Taree Quota club made Bill Bee their Community Champion—an award that shocked the tireless volunteer. "I just do it for the pleasure of seeing people hear," he said.
