    Donate to Hurricane Relief Efforts

Quota International's charitable arm, the We Share Foundation (a 501(c)(3) organization designated by the Internal Revenue Service), is now accepting donations that will support hurricane relief efforts. A full 100 percent of your donations will be targeted for these efforts. We will report back to you on the amount of donations that are received and how they were distributed to those working closest to the devastation. We will distribute funds to support hands-on hurricane relief efforts sponsored by or recommended by local District 21 clubs.

TO DONATE: Please make all checks payable to the “WE SHARE FOUNDATION”

In the South Pacific, please send donations to We Share Foundation, c/o Quota International, PO Box 205, Margate, Queensland 4019, Australia. Donation checks are accepted in Australian and New Zealand currencies.

In all other Quota countries, please send donation checks to We Share Foundation, c/o Quota International, 1420 21st Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20036. Donations are tax deductible in the United States, and donations are accepted in U.S. or Canadian currencies.

How will donations be used? Here are guidelines that will be followed by Quota International Quota clubs in District 21 that are approved to receive donations:

    • The President, President-elect, and Treasurer of Quota International will approve all relief project applications.

    • Once approved, participating clubs will receive donations on an ongoing basis as donations are received by the We Share Foundation. A minimum and maximum amount is not known, nor is it guaranteed.

    • Donations can only be used for District 21 hurricane relief efforts provided by District 21 club members.

    • If club members are volunteering for an existing non-profit agency, program, or organization (non-religious, non-sectarian) providing hurricane relief services, they are welcome to donate the funds to that agency, program, or service provided that 100% of all donations are used for relief services.

    • Monies may be used to provide direct services and support for evacuees in need (helping to purchase food, clothing, transportation, etc.).

    • Monies may be used for multiple or a combination of hurricane relief purposes.

    • All approved and participating District 21 clubs will be asked to keep Quota International informed of their relief efforts with occasional short reports and photographs.

When all donations have been distributed, participating clubs will be required to file a financial report signed by the club president and treasurer reporting on how all donations were spent.
