Quota Cares Month—Honorable Mention Winner
Quota International of West Memphis

When the Quotarians of West Memphis, Arkansas, chose Crittenden Regional Hospital's Haven Hospice as the site for their 2007 Quota Cares Month project, they weren't expecting to find continuing service. But they did.

The club gathered lap pillows, socks, lotions, combs, and puzzle books, among other things, for care packages, which they assembled into beautiful, cheerful gifts that were distributed to hospice patients. Most donated items came from club members, but they also received outside donations before packing.

With a good deal of local media coverage and appreciation on the part of staff and families, it is no wonder that Quota of West Memphis voted to make this a year-round project. Two hospice workers were so impressed with the compassion and enthusiasm of Quota in this project that they want to become members, giving back for what they have seen given.
